I would describe my practice now as having moved away from painting, as I have become much more involved in mixed media. I enjoy incorporating texture and colour, together with collage and unusual combinations of printing and painting. Since qualifying, my real education of looking, seeing and experimenting has begun. I feel very much that art should be a visual and visceral experience and that the viewer should not feel intimidated in anyway.

My aim is to explore the use of materials and try to find some new way of expressing myself. My subject matter ranges from landscape, travel and memory, to looking at the formal elements of composition alone for inspiration. There are no boundaries.
