Ian Watson painter, paper artist, illustrator

I like making work that that is bit surreal and with a touch of humour. Much has a figurative and expressive reference. Paper is a material with so many possibilities not only as a surface but also as a sculptural material.  I find inspiration in all manner of creative processes and enjoy photography, cartoon making and writing and illustrating books.

With my partner I also run  workshops in papermaking and creative processes for all age ranges. I designed and maintain this website for the Hillingdon Artists group.
