Rick Hardcastle Painter

I am a portrait and animal oil and pastel painter. I have been painting a number of years and am now painting in Uxbridge Market every Wednesday. You can see my work there, and make orders for commissions there or from this website. When taking commissions, I like to get to know the person by listening and watching their body language and movements. After this we discuss the clients wishes and develop a concept for the portrait. Then I will take photographs which will serve as a guide for the oil painting. The process normally takes about two months to complete.
